Q: Levan, what are the main goals of the Lithuanian Basketball Academy for the 2025/26 season?
Levan Japaridze:
Our main goal for the 2025/26 season is to continue building a strong, international basketball program that truly prepares players for the next level. We want to develop players not only physically and technically, but also mentally and professionally, following the Lithuanian basketball system.

Q: What makes the LBA Kaunas program unique compared to other academies?
Levan Japaridze:
LBA Kaunas is unique because we focus on complete basketball education. Players learn basketball on the court and off the court. We work a lot on game understanding, tactics, decision-making, and basketball theory, not just drills and games. This is something many programs don’t offer.
